Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Gears Up for State-Level Cross Country Competition in Buldhana

CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: The district of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is poised for the state-level cross country competition in Buldhana, with the district team announced following the local competition organized by the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District Athletics Association.

The district-level cross country competition, inaugurated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Senate Member Dr. Bhaskar Sathe, served as the selection ground for the district team participating in the state-level event on December 17.

Dr. Gani, Former Vice Chancellor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, presided over the prize distribution, with the presence of dignitaries such as Administrative Officer of Marathwada Education Broadcasting Board Phulchand Mali, Prof. Ishwar More, Secretary of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District Athletics Association Dr. Phulchand Salampure, and Dr. Dayanand Kamble.

The success of the tournament was ensured by technical referees Anil Nile, Tushar Khedkar, Ravi Thore, Abhishek Lakde, Karthik Jadhav, Ashish Kagada, and Aniket Kanade.

While cross-country competitions promote physical fitness, the emphasis should also be placed on diverse sports to cater to varying interests and talents.
