Challenger Runner Foundation organises a marathon competition

Challenger Runner Foundation has organized a marathon competition in Solapur city on August 17 and 18 on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. Dignitaries from various fields will run in this marathon competition. Police Commissioner M. Rajkumar and Upper Collector Monica Singh Thakur will run 22 km. Dharashiv MP Omraj Nimbalkar will also run 22 km. They informed the president of the organization Atish Shah and Chandrasekhar Gaikwad.

Challenger Runner Foundation organized a long-distance running event in association with Support by Big Fitness Gym. Mane Deshmukh, Jai Hind Group is the sponsor of this marathon and Indradhanu Apte is the co-sponsor. The 33rd and 77th km will start on August 17 at 7 pm from Soni College Bijapur Road. 22 km and 10 km will start on August 18 at 5:30 am.

After that, the four-kilometer fun run will start. T-shirts, medals, bibs, e-certificate, and breakfast will be given to the participating athletes. This is the third year of organizing the ultra marathon. The competition will be held in the age groups of 18 to 35, 36 to 50, and above 51 years. Contestants from other states of Maharashtra will participate. Timing chips will be used to measure the time.

Prizes of around one lakh 72 thousand have been kept for this competition. The country will complete 77 years of independence and the special feature of this competition is that 77 kilometers will be completed by running. A unique event is happening in Solapur. Challenger Runner Foundation has appealed to more athletes and sports lovers to participate in this competition.
