An Introduction to Hockey

Hockey is considered by many the world’s 3rd most popular team sport only behind the usual suspects, Cricket and Football. One of the oldest modern-day sports, Hockey grips the attention of many enthusiasts all around the world. The skills, endurance and tactics on display during a game of Field Hockey are extremely wonderful to watch.

Especially in India, Hockey has a huge fanbase and it has been so for a long long time. Furthermore, there was a time when Indians ruled the sport of Hockey and to date hold the title for having the highest number of Olympic Golds in the sport, having won a total of 8 Olympic Golds.
