The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced three squads for the upcoming multi-format series against South Africa, set to begin on June 16.
Harmanpreet Kaur will captain India in all three formats, with Smriti Mandhana serving as vice-captain.
Batter Jemimah Rodrigues and pacer Pooja Vastrakar have been included in all three squads, though their participation will depend on their fitness.
The tour will start with a three-match ODI series, which is part of the 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship, to be held in Bengaluru.
Following the ODIs, there will be a one-off Test from June 28 to July 1. This marks India’s third home Test in less than a year, following matches against Australia and England at Wankhede. Chennai will host a women’s Test for the first time since 1976, when India played the West Indies.
The series will conclude with a three-match T20I series from July 5 to July 9, also in Chennai.
