In the 2nd District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by the Table Tennis Sports Welfare Association, Archis Athawale recorded a brilliant performance and won the triple crown by winning the title in three groups. Also, Ahanika Dekate and Janisha Shayba won the double crown. District ranking table tennis competition was held in the divisional sports complex. Archis Athawale recorded a brilliant performance in this competition.
Archis Athawale continued its dominance by winning titles in all three groups namely U-15, U-17, and U-19. With this triple title, he celebrated a hat-trick of titles. Archis Athawale lost to Manoj Kanodje in the men’s final. Manoj won the match 3-2. So Archis Athawale had to settle for the runner-up position. Ahanika Dekate and Janisha Shaybi won the double crown by winning two categories each.
MSTTA executive committee member Kuljit Singh Daroga, TDSWA president Nilesh Mittal, Nikhil Garge, Chetan Dekate, and treasurer Raj Jaiswal distributed prizes to the players of various age groups of the tournament.

Under-11 Boys: Jayawardhan Bajaj won vs Yuvin Shay (3-1). 11-year-old girls: Ahanika Dekate won against Freya Dordi (3-0).
Under-13 Boys: Sriparna Mahurkar won vs Ansh Patel (3-1). 13-year-old girls: Ahanika Dekate won against Ravi Patni (3-1).
Under-15 Boys: Archis Athawale won against Shlok Indians (3-0). 15 Age Group Girls: Ravi Patni (3-1) won by Janisha Shay.
Under-17 Boys: Archis Athawale won vs Shlok Indians (3-1). Girls’ 17: Janisha Shay Nabi Vijay vs Devanshi Toshniwal (3-1).
Under-19 Boys: Archis Athavale won vs Neil Vargantwar (3-0).
Men’s Singles: Manoj Kanodje wins vs Archis Athavale (3-2). Men’s Doubles: Ganesh Kulkarni-Sanjeev Gaikwad won vs Sripad Joshi-Atul Deshmukh (3-2).
Senior Group 39+: Sripad Joshi wins vs Ganesh Kulkarni (3-1). 49 Plus : Ganesh Kulkarni wins vs Prakash Dhabahde (3-2). 59 Plus : Prakash Dhabahde wins vs Mukund Busari (3-0).
