Archis Athawale Powers Through to Four Finals in Table Tennis Takeover

Archis Athawale has reached the final round in four groups with a brilliant performance in the second district-level ranking table tennis championship organized by the Table Tennis Sports Welfare Association.

The competition was organized at the Divisional Sports Complex. Archis Athawale, Ahnika Dekate, Ravi Patni, Shriya Jambhure, Yuvin Shay, Jayawardhan Bajaj, and Sriparna Mahorkar have performed brilliantly in their respective groups.

11 Age Group (Girls) Semi-Finals:

Ahnika Dekate displayed superb form, defeating Jiya Baheti in straight sets (3-0), while Shriya Jambhure also cruised past Ayushi Toshniwal with a commanding (3-0) victory.

13 Age Group (Girls) Semi-Finals:

Ravi Patni maintained her winning streak by outclassing Shriya Jambhure (3-0), while Ahnika Dekate secured a spot in the finals with a comfortable win over Shruti Charkha (3-0).

14 Age Group (Girls) Semi-Finals:

In a closely contested match, Janisha Shaybhai edged past Ahnika Dekate (3-2), while Ravi Patni showcased her dominance once again by defeating Devanshi Toshniwal (3-1).

17 Age Group (Girls) Semi-Finals:

Devanshi Toshniwal overcame Siddhi Jamboree in a thrilling match, winning (3-1) to secure her place in the final.

11 Age Group (Boys) Semi-Finals:

Jayawardhan Bajaj took control against Samrit Singh, winning (3-1), while Yuvin Shay earned a hard-fought victory against Adhyayan Dekate (3-1).

13 Age Group (Boys) Semi-Finals:

In a close encounter, Sriparna Mahorkar narrowly defeated Aryaman Dekate (3-2), while Ansh Patel breezed past Adhyayan Dekate (3-0) to advance.

15 Age Group (Boys) Semi-Finals:

Archis Athawale delivered a flawless performance, defeating Sriparna Mahorkar (3-0), while Shlok Bharatiya triumphed over Aryaman Dekate with an identical scoreline (3-0).

17 Age Group (Boys) Semi-Finals:

Shlok Bharatiya continued his fine form, beating Sarvesh Abhyankar (3-1), while Archis Athawale held his nerve to edge past Neil Vargantwar in a five-set thriller (3-2).

19 Age Group (Boys) Semi-Finals:

In a reversal of fortunes, Neil Vargantwar bested Sarvesh Abhyankar (3-1), while Archis Athawale dismantled Shlok Bharatiya in a one-sided affair (3-0).

Men’s Group Semi-Finals:

Archis Athawale further solidified his credentials by defeating Nikhil Garge (3-1), while Manoj Kandoje made short work of Sukhwinder Singh (3-0) to book his place in the final.

39+ Age Group Semi-Finals:

In the veterans’ category, Sripad Joshi overwhelmed Abhijeet Tamboli (3-0), while Ganesh Kulkarni easily overcame Sanjeev Gaikwad with the same scoreline (3-0).

49+ Age Group Semi-Finals:

Prakash Dabhade advanced to the final by defeating Rajiv Bhalerao, while Ganesh Kulkarni cruised past Devendra Nath to join him in the final.

59+ Age Group Semi-Finals:

In the most senior category, Prakash Dabhade continued his dominance, beating Ravi Salunke, and Mukund Bhusari emerged victorious against Rajiv Bhalerao.
