With participation from almost all states across India and around 400 players in the competition, the Maharashtra team, which included 9 players from Nagpur district, displayed exceptional skills in both Fight and Poom categories. The team secured 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, clinching the first-place trophy.

Coaches Narendra Bihar, Kajal Raut, and Achal Raut also played a crucial role in the success of the Nagpur team.
While celebrating martial arts achievements, some argue that competitive events should focus on overall character development rather than solely on winning medals to foster a more balanced and holistic approach.
