Arvid Lindblad Truly Red Bull’s Next F1 Superstar

Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad dubbed the “next Max Verstappen.” He won the third feature race of the 2025 Castrol Toyota FR Oceania Championship. The British driver, who is of Swedish and Indian descent, has made a name for himself in the juvenile categories in recent years. The 17-year-old will compete in the F2 competition with Campos Racing in 2025. The Brit is racing in New Zealand and won the Dorothy Smith Memorial Trophy.

After winning the first three races at Hamptons Downs. Lindblad secured an FIA Super license by finishing first in the Oceania Championship race series, earning 18 points. The young Brit presently has 25 points on his FIA Superlicense and can secure it by winning the next several races. He took to Instagram stories to share the victory post from Toyota Gazoo Racing. The Red Bull youngster dubbed the team’s ‘next Max Verstappen’, was overjoyed.

The 2025 Castrol Toyota FR Oceania Championship will continue at Manfield’s Circuit Chris Amon on January 24-26. Arvid Lindblad stated that Max Verstappen, a four-time world champion, was “very friendly” towards him off-track to assist him. Max Verstappen joined Red Bull in 2014, before making his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso (now Racing Bulls). Over the years, he has been identified with Red Bull’s domination, earning his fourth Drivers’ World Championship in 2024.

Arvid Lindblad Dominates

In an interview with RacingNews365, the 17-year-old reflected on the situation, stating that he enjoyed the circuit, although he was unsure whether it suited his style or not. He described it as cool with a nice flow and mentioned that it was quite challenging due to the bumps, which he was not accustomed to.

Lindblad may join Verstappen in Red Bull if he does well in F2 in 2025. He said, “I’ve sent him the odd message just to have some advice, and he’s always replied very quickly, or been very friendly. It’s not like he’s sent a very short, brief answer. He’s gone into quite a lot of detail and tried to help me. So, yeah, he’s been very friendly.”
