Satwik-Chirag Carrying The Entire Weight Of Indian Badminton

At the Malaysia Open 2025 badminton tournament, Indian shuttlers Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty made it to the quarterfinals of the men’s doubles competition on Thursday. In the quarterfinals on Friday, the pair will play Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi, another Malaysian duo. Maybe the quarterfinals on Friday against Ong Yew Sin and Two Ee Yi. The two much more modern opponents, will be a little more exciting and help them get over any complacency they may have. These early-round victories were only ever noted until the heavy-duty matches came up for the pair, ages 25 and 27.

They were regular winners before the Olympic year broke into. However, they must exercise caution if they face the Korean scratch duo of Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae in the semifinals. The two will have to pace themselves while juggling injury prevention at the India Open in Delhi next week.

After losing to seventh-seeded Shi Feng Li of the People’s Republic of China, world No. 26 HS Prannoy’s journey at the Malaysia Open 2025 came to a disappointing conclusion. In an hour and twenty-two minutes, HS Prannoy lost 21-8, 15-21, 23-21, despite winning the second game and forcing a tie-breaker in the third.
