India’s Bowling Will Collapse During Bumrah’s Absence

It was always expected that Bumrah would not play the T20I bilateral series because this is not a World Cup year, but with the Champions Trophy approaching, he would have played at least two, if not three, ODIs against England due to the 50-over format. However, the severity of his injury will determine whether Bumrah plays the England series at all or at least the last match on February 12.

Bumrah told Isa Guha on the official broadcast after losing the final test, “It’s a little disappointing in the end because I probably missed out on the spiciest wicket of the series, but that’s the way it is. Sometimes, you have to accept it and move forward.” India will face England in five T20Is and three ODIs beginning January 22.
