Pushpa 2- A movie that was supposed to be one of the greatest hits of Allu Arjun’s career has given him nothing but trouble and controversies so far. The unforgettable Pushpa: Part One made us fall in love with it, and fans eagerly awaited the second part. The second part might be doing great at the box office but it has been a troublemaker for the star of the movie Allu Arjun.
The controversy started with a woman dying at a stampede which occurred during the premiere of the movie. This could’ve been just an accident until Allu Arjun’s part in the accident came out. Allu Arjun was accused of showing up unannounced to the venue which created chaos among the public leading to this tragic incident. As a result, Allu Arjun was arrested and spent a night in jail. The actor was released the other day and gave a conference saying that the incident was a pure accident. The case went on to become ugly with politicians getting involved. Some protesters vandalized Allu Arjun’s Hyderabad home after the actor spoke on the matter.
Making it harder for Allu Arjun, Congress MLA R Bhoopathi had issued a warning for the movie star. Warning Allu Arjun for his criticism against Telangana Congress, the Leader said, If you (Allu Arjun) talk about our Chief Minister, be cautious. You are from Andhra. You came here to live,” he said. “What is your contribution to Telangana? We are issuing a 100 percent warning. Some (Osmania University) Joint Action Committee people have done something at your house. If you don’t mend your ways, we will not let your films run in Telangana,” he added. The actor (Allu Arjun) had gone for the screening of the film at the theatre on December 4 without permission. What seems like a passing controversy has escalated to a larger scale and Allu Arjun seems to have to escape from it.
