Sonakshi Sinha Has Every Right To Counter Mukesh Khanna’s Outdated Remarks

In yet another episode of celebrities being part of controversies, we have the OG Bhisma Pitama aka Mukesh Khanna who recently sparked some controversy. I don’t know about people in need, but Shaktiman entered his recent interview amid a little Bollywood drama. Mukesh Khanna was recently invited to the Siddharth Sharka show when he made unethical remarks about Sonakshi Sinha.

The Mahabharata actor took a dig at Shatrughan Sinha for not teaching his kids about Ramayan and Mahabharata. For those feeling out of context, this goes back in 2019 when Sonakshi Sinha daughter of Shatrughan Sinha was invited to KBC hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The Dabangg actress was asked a question related to the epic Mahabharata, which she couldn’t answer. So recalling this incident, Mukesh Khanna blamed Shatrughan Sinha for his parenting skills. I know we have to right to express our opinions and everything but sometimes it’s better if people keep quiet.

Mukesh Khanna should’ve thought this through before saying it out loud. What gives him the right to blame a father for his parenting skills and a daughter for her upbringing? Kudos to his acting legacy but he needs to get out of his stagnated mindset of Mahabharata and Shaktiman days. Sonakshi Sinha didn’t let the moment pass by sitting quietly, she defended herself and her father on her Instagram story with more etiquette than Mukesh Khanna’s whole interview.

In her story, the actress wrote, “Dear Sir, Mukesh Khanna ji …I recently read a statement you made saying that it’s my father’s fault I did not answer a question about the Ramayana correctly on a show I attended many, many years back. Firstly let me remind you there were two women on the hot seat that day who did not know the answer to the same question, but you choose to keep taking my name, and only my name, for reasons which are quite obvious.”

She mentioned that she might’ve blacked out like normal peeps, and there was no need to convert such a minor issue into a lesson for her and her family. Later on, she continued saying, “Yes, I may have blanked out that day, a human tendency, and forgotten who the sanjeevani booti was brought for, but clearly, you have also forgotten some of the lessons of forgive and forget taught by Lord Ram himself… if Lord Ram can forgive Manthara, if he can forgive Kaikeyi… if he can even forgive Ravan after the great battle was done, surely you can let go of this extremely small thing in comparison.. not that I need your forgiveness. But yes, I definitely need you to forget and stop bringing up the same incident time and again to be back in the news at the expense of me and my family.”
Everything that Sonakshi Sinha wrote sounds fair to me but I would surely like to know what you all have to say. So comment down your opinions below.
