Martina Navratilova Uses Sarcasm To Call Out Ethical Failures

Martina Navratilova reacted sarcastically to the SEC’s recent accusations against a corporation headed by President-elect Donald Trump’s Commerce Secretary nominee, Howard Lutnick. The SEC alleges major violations of securities laws, including attempts to mislead investors. On December 15, the X page ‘Citizens for Ethics’ published a CNBC news story headed, ‘SEC charges Cantor Fitzgerald, led by Trump’s Commerce choice, with breaching securities laws.’ 

According to the newspaper, the financial services company has agreed to refrain from similar crimes. In the future and will pay a civil penalty of $6.75 million. Lutnick, who was selected by President-elect Donald Trump to lead the Commerce Department, also serves as the Trump transition team. Navratilova, a vocal opponent of Trump and Republicans in tennis.
