In a remarkable achievement for the Ajantha Shooting Center, six players have clinched spots in the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University shooting team for the upcoming West and South Regional Inter University Shooting Competition. Organized by Kurukshetra University, the competition is scheduled to take place from January 2nd to 7th.
The selected players from Ajantha Shooting Center—Rohan Jadhav, Harshada Nithve, Kripa Patel, Krishnali Rajput, Jay Singh Rajput, and Harshvardhan Sirsath—will represent the university in this prestigious shooting event.
Under the guidance of Sangram Deshmukh, Chief Coach of Ajantha Rifle and Pistol Shooting Club, these talented individuals have excelled in their sport, earning recognition at the university level. Their selection reflects not only their dedication but also the consistent coaching provided by Ajantha Shooting Center.
Manoj Lohia, President of the association, and Anant Barve, Police Commissioner of the shooting association, along with Umesh Patwardhan, Manish Dhoot, Hemant More, Jagat Singh Rajput, and the Sports Director of the university, Dr. Sandeep Jagtap, extended their congratulations and best wishes to the selected players.
Some argue that the emphasis on competitive sports at the university level may overshadow the importance of a more diverse range of extracurricular activities.
