As per sources, Alia Bhatt has officially joined the cast of Love and War as one of the lead roles. Rumors have it that the Raazi actress started shooting for the movie on the 19th of November. Alia Bhatt might have already established herself as one of the top actresses of Bollywood but this will be another huge milestone for the actress. Alia Bhatt is known for taking on roles that challenge her acting skills and signing up for Love and War will allow her to explore a more complex and dramatic character arc. Despite Love and War having all the elements for major success few things might go wrong with the movie. Firstly given the track record of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies like Padmavat and Devdaas people will have sky-high expectations. So the movie will always be compared to these movies and in any case if it fails to meet those expectations or even slightly has some off points it can only lead to backlash. Secondly, the movie will be a periodic film so Bhansali will have to be on his toes to make the actors fit into the aura of historical times, which can be a difficult task considering Shamshera’s huge failure. Overall the movie has the potential to be a hit if all factors come together.
