The Third Season Of “Bollywood Wives’ Have Glamour But No Sizzle

The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is back with season three on Netflix. And this time it’s bigger and it’s better. Season three is bigger because it’s a mix-up of three Delhi Socialites- Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, Kalyani Saha Chawla and Shalini Passi. You can imagine how much more drama is multiplied when more high-class women are added to the show other than Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari.

Even if you’re not a big fan of baseless dramas, you should watch this Netflix series. It’s like you might not like them but you can’t ignore them. For someone who loves to know what goes on in the lives of celebrities, this might be a sneak peek for you into their lives. These women have a way of engrossing us in the gossip of Bollywood every time they come on-screen. The entire concept of Bollywood Wives might look way too fake and superficial but that’s the fun we look for sometimes. Something which makes us feel delusional and carefree. Watching a movie or series that doesn’t lead anywhere is needed sometimes, for middle-class people who for once get to see the world of delusion, and makes their hearts feel lighter. Girls tend to watch something that has Sasse, spunk, and spice. That’s what Bollywood Wives delivers.

The first seasons of Bollywood Wives were all about wit and gossip but the third season might have fallen flat. With the addition of Delhi Socialites fans were expecting the addition of drama which didn’t happen. The new season might have new faces but not new additions in spices. It’s a little dull if you want to watch something that has no story and all frivolous gossip. What seemed earlier was the three high-class Delhi women would be the tadka of the show but now after watching the show they felt like elaichi that will ruin your recipe if you taste it. The Mumbai ladies were enough to keep our eyes on the screen. The whole concept of watching the first two seasons of Bollywood Wives is to indulge in their personal lives and gossip but in season three they don’t add much to it. All they do is fight over which city has got it all Mumbai or Delhi. The high-drama interaction between the wives is not dramatic enough to keep us hooked.

The third season might check your patience with boredom, but I’ll surely recommend you watch the first two seasons of “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” if you wanna see what actual ‘drama’ looks like.
