Tyler, the creator has to be one of the MVPs of the music scene today because every album he releases is flawless and timeless. His last album CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST (2021) was a chartbuster and spawned hit singles like DOGTOOTH and WUSYANAME. Tyler also has the funniest public appearances and his friendship with long-time collaborator ASAP ROCKY is highly adored by the internet.
He is one of the most innovative rappers and musicians as he started out with making dark and edgy rap music but everything changed when he dropped his album Flower Boy in 2017 which completely changed people’s opinion about him and the world started taking his music seriously. In 2019 he dropped the all-time classic album IGOR which showed a completely different side of Tyler’s music with Neo soul-inspired beats and Tyler singing on it more than rapping. His out-of-pocket personality and innovative and emotion-evoking music have made him one of the most popular and inspirational musicians today.
While everyone has been waiting for him to drop his next album no one actually expected it anytime soon because of his recent comment on fellow musician Steve Lacy’s Instagram post where he mentioned that he is trying to be an “actress” but people keep asking him about his new album. Seems like he played all of us as he announced his eighth studio album titled “CHROMAKOPIA” which is all set to release on 28th October.
Tyler has already released a single on his Instagram and the theme of this album seems to be dark and Neo-noir (I’m just guessing). The announcement post on Instagram has already gained more than a million likes and it hasn’t been an hour since he posted it (at the time of writing this article) which is huge and shows the fanbase Tyler carries.
