Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s New Trailer Is A Perfect Blend Of Cringe And Lame

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s trailer is finally here, but it’s nowhere near to what the audience expected. The fans had their opinions ready the moment they watched the trailer and trust me the comments are even worse than the trailer.

Karthik Aaryan has established himself as the comic-genre actor in contemporary times, people even call him the next Akshaya Kumar in Bollywood. This is why fans were rooting with excitement for the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiya until they saw it. Fans had high expectations from the star-studded cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has Karthik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and the surprise element of the movie Madhuri Dixit. However, the recent trailer release of the movie received major disappointment from the audiences, which led many to label the movie trailer as “cringe”.

The trailer of the movie features a blend of horror and comedy, and a pinch of cringeness into it. Fans were eagerly waiting to see how the magic of Rooh Baba gets his way through their heart this time, but it seems Rooh Baba didn’t even touch the fans’ hearts. The character of Rooh Baba demanded both depth and humor from Karthik Aaryan, but he seemed lacking those in the trailer. The netizens highlighted that Karthik Aaryan’s acting in the trailer looks “forced and out of place”, spoiling the whole fun of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

The trailer fell short of surrounding itself with the franchise’s legacy. I think the return of Manjulika should’ve been the top factor of the movie but with Vidya Balan’s overacting and cringe expression, I’m forced to think if the movie was better off without her. The actress should’ve followed up the legacy, she herself left behind in the first part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa as Manjulika. Critics commented that “ Can’t believe actresses like Vidya Balan are giving cringe expressions and doing overacting for the same iconic role,”. Many people expected Bhool Bhulaiyaa to meet the bar set by Stree 2, considering it is one of the best follow-up sequels ever made in Bollywood. This proves my point that Bollywood is running out of fresh ideas to make sequels.
