18 wrestlers of Bhagirathi Vidyalaya participated in the Vaijapur taluka level wrestling tournament and performed brilliantly. Out of them, five wrestlers have been selected for district-level wrestling tournaments. Ashwin Naglot won first place in the 48 kg weight category in the Under 17 category in this competition. Surya Kanade won the first position in the under 55 kg weight category.
Anand Jarwal won the first position in the 65 kg weight category in the under-19 category. Tanmay Dane bagged the first rank in the 70 kg weight category and Akshay Jarwal bagged the first rank in the 125 kg weight category. Chandan Bighot and Shailesh Dukare had to settle for the second position.
All these players have benefited from the guidance of sports teacher Bharat Nimbalkar. President of the institute Prof. Chandrakant Gaikwad, Secretary Valmik Surase, Principal BM Hazare, and Director Dattatray Surase congratulated the players.
