Rayyan Siddiqui Hits The Bullseye At Asian Archery Championships

Recurve archer Rayyan Siddiqui of Dharashiv District Archery Association won the gold medal in the Asian Archery Championship held in Chinese Taipei under the auspices of the World Archery Federation. He has become the first archer from Marathwada to win a gold medal in the Asian Archery Championship. The Indian team defeated the host Chinese Taipei team. 

To win the junior recurve boys’ final at the ongoing Asian Archery Championship in Taipei, China on Monday.  Dharashiv’s Rayyan Siddiqui’s performance has been crucial in helping India win the gold medal. He has won many medals in many state-level and national-level archery competitions. Raiyan was sent by the central government for a special training camp held in Korea in August.

Dharashiv’s son will turn out to be the next superstar

Always supported by his father Tofiq Siddiqui, Rayyan Siddiqui started taking archery training from Dharashiv District Archery Association coach Nitin Jamge. Currently, Recurve is undergoing training under the guidance of international archery coach Ranjit Chamle.

With sheer willpower, Raiyan won the gold medal and made the name of the district shine at the international level. Dharashiv District Archery Association President MP Omprakash Rajenimbalkar, MLA Kailas Patil, District Archery Association Working President Avinash Gadde, Vice President Atul Ajmer, Secretary Praveen Gadde have congratulated Raiyan for his performance.
