KL Rahul’s Drip Project’s Metaman collaboration will take digital leap

KL Rahul has been one of the most elegant batters for India. The wicket-keeper batter has been a pillar in the middle order in the white ball format of the game. The Karnataka-born player was last seen in action in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. He might also feature in the forthcoming test series against Bangladesh. Before that, he joined Drip Project’s Metaman. 

The Company was founded in 2022, and acquired Drip Project in 2023. They are aiming to offer affordable high-quality products to Generation Z people. After taking on the market with jewellery exclusively made for modern Indian men, the firm has now revamped its luxury perfumes range, with support from the Indian international. The opener is known for investing in young Indians. He has now invested an undisclosed amount in Drip Project’s premium perfume range. 

This will surely capture the young generations. Many youngsters look up to him as a role model. He recently invested an undisclosed amount in Flam, an AI-powered firm, for its latest innovation, The MR product aims to alter how fans engage with celebrities. As an active investor, KL has funded companies and projects such as Boldfit, XYXX, Hyugalife, 4Cast, and Players Fund. He always has been in investment and looks to invest in some or the other growing brands.

Rahul said, “These are areas I’m truly passionate about. That’s why I’m involved in health, wellness, sports, and fashion—these have always interested me. I’ve chosen to enter spaces where I feel comfortable and where I can genuinely contribute, rather than just being the face or an ambassador. While that role is exciting, this is a much bigger opportunity for me. It extends beyond my playing days and represents a long-term investment.”

After onboarding the cricketer, co-founder of the company said, “KL has been an investor in Metaman Brands Pvt Ltd and The Drip Project from the beginning. Seeing the growth we’ve made over the past two years since he invested—from starting at zero to reaching where we are today—he’s been part of the journey. When I introduced the idea of expanding The Drip Project into the fragrance market and re-launching Metaman, he showed immediate interest.”
