In the national junior boys and girls taekwondo tournament. The Maharashtra team won the team title while the Gujarat team finished runner-up. Arunachal Pradesh team won the championship in the Poomsay category. The 41st Junior National Taekwondo Championship was successfully concluded at the Divisional Sports Complex.
In the final matches, the taekwondo players got to see close and thrilling fights. Maharashtra won the team title with 107 points. It includes two gold, three silver, and ten bronze medals, while Gujarat finished runners-up with 99 points. Maharashtra stood first, Madhya Pradesh second and Uttarakhand State third in the boy’s team. In the girl’s category, Gujarat stood first, Maharashtra second, and Assam state third.
Gujarat state won the best fighting spirit in boys team and Delhi state won in girls team. The participation trophy was won by Kerala State in boys’ teams and Manipur State’s team in girls. The Arunachal Pradesh team won the title in the Poomsae category of Taekwondo, while Karnataka State came second and Assam State came third.
Maharashtra’s Om Borse wins gold in Taekwondo Championship

Maharashtra’s Om Borse and Siddhi Bendale won gold medals while Prathamesh Mankar, Trisha Mayekar, and Vishwajit Vengade won silver medals in this event.
