Cricketer turned murderer; Shakib Al Hasan’s dark side exposed in murder investigation

Shakib Al Hasan has been one of the finest all-rounders in international cricket. He has been involved in various on-field cricketing controversies with umpires and players as well. However, this time he was charged with a serious case outside the cricketing field. The Bangladesh cricketer has landed in trouble after being named in a murder case in his home country.

As per reports, the former captain has been accused of murdering Rubel Islam. As his father Rafiqul Islam has filed a complaint against the cricketer. The former was murdered on the 5th of August. There has been another big name that is involved in the matter is former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. There are various reports that the former PM is also involved in the same. However, amidst all the chaos in Bangladesh, she resigned and flew away to India for safety.

Shakib is currently part of the team in the ongoing Test series against Pakistan in Pakistan. Both sides are involved in their all-important WTC 2023-25 cycle.
