In the recent Cadet State Level Taekwondo Competition held in Chandrapur, Amar Shivlakar and Swati Chaudhary achieved notable success by winning bronze medals. The event, organized by the Chandrapur District Taekwondo Association in collaboration with the Taekwondo Association of Maharashtra, featured a competitive field with participants from across the state. Representing the Jalgaon District Taekwondo Association, Amar Shivalkar, competing in the 176 cm height category, and Swati Chaudhary from Shaurya Taekwondo Academy of Pahur both clinched bronze medals.
The success of these athletes is attributed to the expert guidance of their coaches. Amar Shivlakar benefited from the mentorship of Coach Jayesh Kasar from Raver, while Swati Chaudhary was trained by Coach Haribhau Raut from Pahur. Additionally, the technical aspects of the competition were overseen by Jayesh Baviskar, an NIS Coach, who was honoured by the state organization for his contributions.
The Jalgaon District Taekwondo Association, led by President Atul Bhau Jain, Vice President Lalit Patil, Treasurer Suresh Khairnar, General Secretary Ajit Gharge, and Joint Secretary Ravindra Dharmadhikari, along with members Mahesh Gharge, Narendra Mahajan, Krishna Kumar Taide, and Saurabh Choubey, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the athletes. Their impressive performance at the competition underscores the talent and dedication present in the district’s MMA community.
