In the annual general meeting of the Kokanastha Parivar Sanstha in Pune City, sports organizer Sunil Neverekar was elected as the president of the organization. Parag Ganu has been elected as the secretary. This selection will be for the next four years.
Balasaheb Sane presided over this annual meeting. President Sunil Neverekar, Vice President Arun Panhalkar (Ratnagiri), Sunil Birnale (Pune), Mrigaya Patil (Navi Mumbai), Prof. Sadhana Gudekar (Mumbai), Working President Dinkarrao Shinde, Vice President Naresh Pednekar (Raigad), Dr. Amol Saptarshi, Secretary Paragarshi. Ganu, Joint Secretary Asfia Syed, Treasurer Vijay Uttekar, Members Nana Neverekar, Datta Shinde, Ganesh Nikam, Baban Mane, Ashok Rade, Srinath Hagwane, Sonia Neverekar were elected.
Various sports competitions, medical guidance for athletes, and special programs for the blind and disabled are organized on behalf of the organization throughout the year. Additionally, a separate award ceremony is organized in memory of Bhai Neverekar.
