IPL 2025: 4 players Chennai Super Kings will retain ahead of mega auction

Indian Premier League (IPL) has been the toughest T20 franchise league in the world. Over the years the tournament has seen some of the greatest cricketers taking part for the different teams. From the likes of Shane Warne to Phil Salt. Some big names have been associated with the teams to showcase their talents in India. However, it has given rise to many new Indian cricketers as well.

4. Devon Conway

Conway will look to make a comeback to the side and bolster the squad in the top order. He will be one of the players to be retained by the side. 

3. MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni has been the pillar of the side over the years. His leadership experience has helped the side win the trophy five times. However, he has been 42 years old he continues to deliver in the franchise league. Dhoni has handed over the captaincy to Gaikwad. But he still leads from behind the wicket. Despite the talks of his retirement, he will feature in the next season as well. 

2. Ravindra Jadeja 

Ravindra Jadeja has announced his T20I retirement. But he will surely feature in the IPL. The experienced all-rounder has been a crucial member of the side over the years. Though he did not have the best of the IPL, last season. He will look to make a comeback and help the team. He will be an important member and will be retained by the side as well. 

1. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad led the side well in his first year of captaincy in the IPL. But he could not lead the side to the playoffs. Gaikwad was excellent with the bat throughout the IPL and led from the front in terms of scoring runs. He will look to change the fortunes in the forthcoming season and lead his side to the sixth title.
