Excellent Taekwondo Academy won medals in the Thane district-level Taekwondo competition. They won 12 medals including two gold, two silver, and eight bronze. Thane district level cadets, junior and senior group athletes competition was organized at Balasaheb Mhatre Mahila College, Badlapur. This competition was conducted on ‘Digital Sensor’. So that the players will benefit from it for national and international competition.
Excellent Taekwondo Academy had registered 15 players for their participation in the district-level competition. In this, 12 players participated in the cadets i.e. under 14 years group while 3 players were in the under 17 years group. Out of a total of 15 players, 12 won medals. While the remaining 3 players performed excellently in their group.
The gold medal winners of this competition are selected for the state championship taekwondo competition. Junior group state-level competition will be held from 25th to 27th July at Beed. All the athletes have been guided by Taekwondo coaches Gajendra Gavander and Kanchan Gavander.
The Academy Founder Neeraj Borse, Lata Kalwar, Thane District Taekwondo Association President Tukaram Mhatre, Vice President Salil Zaveri, Deepak Malusare, Secretary Kaushik Garwalia, Treasurer Surendra Kamble, Pramod Kadam, etc. congratulated the players, coaches, and parents and wished them all the best for the future.
