Dyaneshwar Vidyalaya wins Atmaram More Memorial Cup

Dyaneshwar Vidyalaya (Vadala) team won the Atmaram More Memorial Cup Inter School Free Indoor Kabaddi Tournament. It is organized on the occasion of Kabaddi Day. The tournament is organized by Atmaram More Pratishthan and Ideal Sports Academy. Collaborating with Rosary High School-Dockyard. Dnyaneshwar Vidyalaya ended the challenge of Tarabai Modak High School, Dadar. In the decisive match that went all the way to gold.

In the semi-final match, Tarabai Modak High School defeated All India Education Society High School of Ghatkopar. Dnyaneshwar Vidyalaya defeated Samata Vidyamandir of Ghatkopar to reach the final round. Antonio D’Souza High School (Byculla), Rosary High School (Dockyard), St. Joseph’s High School (Dongri), and St. Mary’s High School (Mazgaon) reached the quarter-finals in the competition.

An exhibition kabaddi match of school girls was also played on this occasion. Youth activists working in the school kabaddi movement, Promise Saitwadekar, Sunil Khopkar, Ram Gudme, Chandrakant Karangutkar, Pritam Patil, Yash Palkar, Vrishab Gaikwad, Prahlad Kirjat were especially honoured.
