The final, held at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune, witnessed a tightly contested match.
St. Andrew’s College showcased their prowess by overcoming Aurangabad District in the quarter-finals and Kolhapur District in the semi-finals before facing Pune in the championship bout. The Pune outfit displayed resilience, offering a spirited performance and turning the final into a lively and competitive encounter.
Despite Pune’s tenacious efforts, St. Andrew’s College dominated in terms of possession and goal-scoring opportunities. In a crucial move, Jayden Pereira seized an opportunity to net the decisive winning goal, securing the title for the Mumbai team.
