3 upcoming cricketers who might get maiden call for Sri Lanka Tour

Team India will be touring Sri Lanka for three ODIs and as many T20Is. This tour will mark the beginning of the head coach tenure of Gautam Gambhir. The Men in Blue fairly played a new squad in the Zimbabwe tour. Shubman Gill led the side to a 4-1 victory in the bilateral series. Nehal Wadhera was impressive for Mumbai Indians in the middle order. The Punjab cricketer has an average of 34.66 and an impressive strike rate of 151.82 in T20s. He also played 6 games last season for the five-time champions and the more impressive fact he can bowl as well. He might get his maiden call for the national side in the T20I team.

Harshit Rana has been impressive over the last couple of years. The Kolkata Knight Riders pacer was amazing in the IPL 2024. He bowled brilliantly in the middle overs and the death as well. Rana picked up 19 wickets for the side with an average of 20.16. He has the experience of playing in the India A team. But might get a nod in the ODI format for the upcoming series.
