Anisha Nakle and Angraj Patil wins state-level athletics competition

In the second state-level athletics competition organized by Nashik Athletics Foundation. Runners Anisha Nakle and Angraj Patil won the open category. The players of VDEK Sports Foundation of Nashik performed brilliantly.

The competition was held on a synthetic track at the Divisional Sports Complex in Nashik city. A large number of players from Maharashtra participated in this tournament. In 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and open groups. Many international-level players were present in this tournament.

Snehal Rajput and Mount Everest hero Anil Vasawe international sportsperson inaugurated the competition. For this competition, Balaji Shirpule and Gauri Rajole were prominently present as competition observers by the Maharashtra Athletics Association.

In this competition, Pearl Birwarkar, Rajan Chavan, Samarth Kadam, Daksh Khomene, Tanashi Gadas, Sushant Sangle, Shreya Bundal, Samiksha Bodke, Rigved Mango, Bhavishya Wagh, Smital More achieved great success in their respective groups.

International runners Supriya Tewitia (Railways) and Jyoti Tewitia (Army) awarded the winners of the various age groups. The winners received medals from the stars. Also, Chief Guest National Coach Vijender Singh, Indian Media Chairman Hiralal Lothe, Entrepreneur DD Dhongde, GNC Manager Kadir Khan, Dr. Vaibhav Mahajan honoured the players by giving medals and trophies, and gifts.

The team of Vijay Bengle, Nitin Dubey, Mangesh Kadam, and Nikhil Shinde acted as the chief umpire in this tournament. Manohar Bhavnath, Vishwas Chumble, Dutta Shinde, Rajendra Shinde, Rahul Pingle, Gaurav Lotane, Gurudev Kolhe, Savita Deshmukh, Pranjal Patole, Anand Rajeev Prasad, Sumit Desai, etc. took initiative for the success of the tournament. Also, Nashik Athletics Foundation President Leela Raut and Secretary Mangesh Raut thanked the players and chief guests.
