The men’s final saw Pune outclassing Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, while the women’s team triumphed against Nagpur. Ahmednagar and Dhule secured third positions.
The high-stakes championship, held at the University Basketball Ground in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, witnessed intense competition. In the men’s final, Pune overcame Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with a 90-80 basket margin, claiming the coveted title. Yusuf Syed and Shubham Yadav played pivotal roles in securing the decisive lead.
For the women’s title, Pune faced a resilient Nagpur team, ultimately winning with a 64-57 basket margin. Pune’s Sia Khillare, Sanika Mahajan, Janhvi Kakade, Akshaya Patil, and Reva Kulkarni showcased exceptional skills, overcoming Nagpur’s strong challenge.
In the men’s category, Ahmednagar secured the third position by defeating Satara with a 58-42 basket margin. The women’s third-place match witnessed a spectacular showdown, with Dhule narrowly beating Nashik 51-50.
The semifinals showcased thrilling encounters, with Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar defeating Ahmednagar 93-81 and Pune overpowering Satara 73-47 in the men’s category. In the women’s category, Pune triumphed over Nashik 47-38, while Nagpur secured a 60-24 victory against Dhule.
