Tara Shah and Tasneem Mir qualify for semifinals of VV Natu Memorial Badminton Tournament

Tara Shah, Tasneem Mir, and Devika Sihag are in the women’s group. Bharat Raghav Kaushal Dharmer and Tushar Suveer are in the men’s group. They defeated the players and entered the semi-finals Yonex Sunrise VV Natu Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament. The matches are organised by Pune District Metropolitan Badminton Association.

In the women’s category, Gujarat’s 15th seed Tasneem Mir defeated top seed Ishrina Baruah of Assam. The score was 9-21, 25-23, 21-18 in the women’s category at the PE Societies PDMBA Sports Complex, Shivajinagar Badminton Court.

Maharashtra’s Tara Shah defeated Telangana’s Tanvi Reddy Anduluri 16-21, 21-3, 21-12. Punjab’s 10th seed Tanvi Sharma defeated Gujarat’s 12th seed Shreya Lele 21-17, 21-14 to enter the semifinals. Devika Sihag of Haryana defeated fourth seed Mansi Singh of Uttar Pradesh 21-17, 21-18.

Bharat Raghav enters semi-final of VV Natu Memorial Badminton Tournament

In men’s singles, ninth seed Bharat Raghav of Haryana ended the challenge of Maharashtra’s Prannoy Shettigar 19-21, 21-19, 21-17. In the third seed, Sanith DS of Karnataka defeated Abhishek Saini of Haryana 21-18, 21-15.

Tushar Suveer of Karnataka defeated Chhattisgarh’s Siddharth Pratap Singh 21-13, 18-21, 21-14 to reach the semifinals. Kaushal Dharmer of Maharashtra, seeded 14th, defeated his fellow state Darshan Pujari 11-21, 21-18, 21-17.
