Ambadas Danve wants action against Suhas Patil over various offenses

Opposition leader Ambadas Danve has demanded that the government take action against Deputy Director of Sports Suhas Patil. The latter has been booked for various offenses. Speaking in the Legislative Council on ‘Lakshvedhi’ on Friday. Danve highlighted malpractices in the sports department. These included irregularities in the distribution of the State Shiv Chhatrapati Awards at Gaondevi Police Station, Mumbai.

Danve specified that Suhas Patil has been booked under Sections 406, 420, 465, 471, 474, and 34 of the BHAVIS. He also mentioned allegations such as irregularities involving Rs.1 crore in a five percent reservation in the sports department.

Suhas Patil’s corruption is long listed

A scam of around 230 crores in gymnasium and playground development. Along with issues related to two girls running away from Sports Prabodhini. Furthermore, Danve criticized Patil for obstructing the five percent reservation of Wushu players without reason.

Danve expressed dissatisfaction that despite informing the sports commissioner and calling for suspension and an inquiry committee, has no action been taken. Therefore, Danve demanded the immediate suspension of Suhas Patil, considering the discontent among players and citizens towards the government.
