Maharashtra Sports Department announce selected venues for State Level School Sports Competitions

The sports department of the state has fixed the schedule of inter-school state-level sports competitions. At present, state championships of 56 sports are organised in various districts of the state. The district sports officer’s office demanded the organisation of state school sports competitions and has been allowed to organise these competitions. So currently the venues of state school competitions of 56 sports have been finalised. 

Joint Director of Sports Sudhir More said that the venues for other sports will be announced soon. State-level inter-school sports competitions will be held in 14, 17, and 19 age groups. A total of 93 sports competitions will be organized in this school sports season. The government has advised to ensure that the competitions of all these games start and finish on the scheduled date.
