The award ceremony, held in New Delhi on Monday, celebrated Nita Ambani’s remarkable contributions to the realm of sports.
Reliance Foundation, under Nita Ambani’s guidance, was further acknowledged with the ‘Best Corporate Promoting Sports in India’ award, commending the foundation’s commitment to setting high standards of excellence in the field of sports.
Jai Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and the President of the Asian Cricket Council, was honored with the ‘Best Sports Business Leader Award’ for his outstanding contributions and performance in the sports industry.
In addition, the renowned cricket franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was recognized as the ‘Sports Franchise of the Year,’ highlighting its significant impact and massive fan following. Despite not clinching an IPL title, RCB remains one of the most iconic and popular franchises, particularly known for its star batsman Virat Kohli.
