The foil category, in the age group of 19, witnessed Shinde’s exceptional skills, bringing glory to Shree Venkatesh Secondary and Higher Secondary Ashram School, Ghatangri.
Vaibhav Shinde, currently a 12th-grade science student, received a hero’s welcome upon his return to Dharashiv. The State Housing Minister, Atul Save, took center stage in felicitating the young fencing sensation at the airport. The event was graced by BJP General Secretary Sanjay Kenekar, international trainer Prof. Sagar Magare, along with the presence of Vishwajit Kulkarni and Sanjay Bhosale.
