The dazzling display of precision and skill on show by Isha Taksale and Parth Mane etched their names in gold at the Khelo India Youth Sports competition. The duo’s exceptional performance in the mixed doubles 10m air rifle event unfolded at the Guru Nanak College Shooting Range in Chennai.
Both athletes, honed under the guidance of international coach Suma Shirur at Mumbai’s Lakshya Academy, boast a strong track record in international competitions. Isha, who commenced her journey with Sri Ganesha at the age of six in Amravati, has clinched four international medals and holds records in youth competitions.
Remarkably, this marks her second consecutive medal at the Khelo India tournament. Parth, winning gold for the first time, expressed aspirations fueled by the success at Khelo India, envisioning the 2028 Olympics.
