In a triumph for Dharashiv District Archery Association, four young talents showcased their archery finesse at the 14-year-old State Level School Archery Competition in Mumbai. Paris Patil, Shreya Vagholikar, Shrutika Kshirsagar, and Aarushi Kshirsagar, representing Latur Division, not only secured bronze medals but also carved their path to recognition in the archery realm.
The standout performer, Paris Patil, clinched the individual bronze medal in the boys’ category, earning a well-deserved spot in the Maharashtra team for the upcoming national archery competition in Gujarat. Patil’s remarkable achievement is a testament to his dedication and skill on the archery field.
Adding to the glory, Shreya Vagholikar, Shrutika Kshirsagar, and Aarushi Kshirsagar displayed exceptional teamwork, securing the team bronze medal in the compound round category. The athletes, honing their skills at the Dharashiv District Archery Training Center, demonstrated precision and coordination in their performance.
The Latur Division compound team received guidance from Kailas Landge, who played a crucial role as the team guide, while Varsha Hajgude assumed the responsibilities of the team manager, contributing to the team’s success.
MP Omprakash Rajenimbalkar, President of Dharashiv District Archery Association, expressed his pride in the young athletes’ accomplishments. Shrikant Harnale, District Sports Officer, along with Avinash Gadde, Working President of the District Archery Association, and other officials, extended their congratulations to the athletes, their parents, and the sports enthusiasts who supported them.
