In Group E action, Sriram Sangha from Palghar secured their spot in the knockout stage by defeating suburban Ovali Mandal 41-35. Prateek Jadhav’s stellar performance, scoring 17 quick points, played a crucial role in Sriram Sangha’s victory.
MidLine Sports outplayed Jai Dattaguru team 30-22 in Group A, with Dheeraj Bullmare leading the charge with 6 runs. Meanwhile, suburban Chembur Sports Center secured a 60-29 victory over Mumbai’s Om Pimpleshwar in Group B, despite the latter’s entry into the knockout round due to point differences.
Golfadevi showcased resilience by overcoming a halftime deficit of 19-22 to defeat Jai Bharat 38-33 in Group E, sealing their place in the knockout stage. Vijay Club triumphed over Ankur with a score of 41-37 in Group C, ensuring both teams advanced to the next round.
In the final Group D winner’s runner-up match, Bandya Maruti secured a hard-fought victory over Lions Sports with a score of 39-34.
