48th Junior State Volleyball Championship Set to Spike Excitement in Jalgaon

In a celebration of sporting prowess, the 48th Junior State Volleyball Championship, sanctioned by the Maharashtra Volleyball Association Mumbai and orchestrated by the Jalgaon District Passing Volleyball Association, is poised to captivate Jalgaon from December 1st to 3rd. The Nutan Maratha College playground will be the battleground for this thrilling tournament featuring boys and girls under 18.

Teams from eight divisions, including Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Latur, will compete, promising a fierce display of talent and determination. Beyond the thrill of competition, participants stand to gain sports grace marks in their 10th and 12th exams, with players from the top three teams enjoying a five percent reservation discount in job opportunities.

The championship will unfold in a dynamic series and knockout format, with matches even illuminated by floodlights for added spectacle. The event kicks off on the morning of December 1, with a formal opening ceremony scheduled for 6 p.m. The crowning moment will be the prize distribution ceremony on December 3 at 7 p.m., an occasion to honor the achievements and dedication of the participating athletes.

This sporting extravaganza has garnered support from various quarters, with institutions such as Nutan Maratha College, Jain Sports Academy, and several businesses contributing to its success. Committees, led by association officials including President Farooq Sheikh and Secretary Anjali Patil, have been diligently working to ensure the smooth execution of the tournament.
