Mount Elbrus, Europe’s highest peak, was climbed by the 360 Explorer team. Kishore Navkar, Suraj Sulane, Datta Sarode, Prashant Kale, Vinod Vibhute, Rupali Kachare, Preet Apayya, Ajay Gaikwad, Preeti Singh, Chetan Parmar, Anand Bansode created a new history by scaling Mount Elbrus. Indian climbers set foot on Europe’s highest peak, Mount Elbrus, creating a new history.
Kishore Navkar, Suraj Sulane, sports teacher of Indian Cadet Force, and Shree Saraswati Bhuvan Education Institute in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Dutta Sarode of Municipal Corporation, entrepreneur Dr. Prashant Kale, Vinod Vibhute, and Rupali Kachre from Government Medical College, Jalgaon. Preet Apayya from Mysore, Ajay Gaikwad from Latur, 12-year-old Preeti Singh from Madhya Pradesh, Chetan Parmar, and Everest veteran Anand Bansode climbed the peak for the third time on August 17.
The expedition was planned by Anand Bansode through 360 Explorer in Solapur. The campaign started on August 9. However, the team could not climb on August 15 due to the storm. As the weather was bad, they started climbing the peak at noon on August 16 and the team of climbers reached the peak after 6.45 minutes.
360 Explorer creates a new world record
Elbrus, Europe’s highest peak in Russia, is a challenging peak. The height of this peak is 18, 510 feet and this peak is situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. Mount Elbrus is a dormant volcanic mountain, one of the highest on earth, 20 kilometers from the border of Georgia.
Its temperature goes up to minus 25 degrees. Constant big storms throughout the year and bone-chilling cold are obstacles in climbing Mt Elbrus. This expedition is organized by 360 Explorer, a group of 360 Explorers that organizes adventure expeditions around the world.
360 Explorer has held several world records in the last 8 years. Challenging missions are involved in proper planning.
