On behalf of the District Sports Officer Office Nandurbar under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Maharashtra State, Pune, World Surya Namaskar Day was celebrated on the occasion of Rathasaptami in association with Nandurbar Taluka Legislative Committee Nandurbar and Krida Bharti Nandurbar District.
Yashwant Vidyalaya and Junior College, Smt. Shroff High School and Junior College, D. R. High School and Junior College, Dr. KANE GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL, KAMALA NEHRU GIRLS’ SCHOOL, S. A. Mission High School, Sonia Gandhi Vidyalaya, Annasaheb P. K. A total of 1100 students of Patil Vidyalaya celebrated World Surya Namaskar Day together and celebrated Omkar and Surya Namaskar Day.
Nandurbar District Sports Officer Sunanda Patil, Office Superintendent of Nandurbar Taluka Legislative Committee Principal Pushpendra Raghuvanshi, Yashwant Vidyalaya Principal Shivaji Patil, Krida Bharati President Prakash Chaudhary, Vice President Rajesh Shah, Secretary Sriram Modak, Chhatrapati Awardee Balwant Nikam, Sports Organizer Dr. Mayur Thackeray, Mukesh Bari, yoga teacher Shantaram Patil, officials of Krida Bharati Chetna Chaudhary, Jitendra Pagare, Jagdish Vanjari, Jayesh Chaudhary, Jitendra Mali etc were present.
While guiding on this occasion, Sunanda Patil explained the importance of Suryanamaskar. On this occasion Shivaji Mali sketched the rangoli of the sun and for the success of the program Karan Chavan, Nilesh Gavit, Seema Gavit, Pallavi Bari, Jagdish Bachhao, Prasad Mali, Manish Saner, Yogesh Mali, Varsha Patil, Prof. N. S. Patil, Prof. Rajendra Shewale, Ravindra Sonawane, Amol Chitte, Jitendra Mali, Vilas Patil, Praveen More, Karan Chavan, Seema Gavit, R. B. Patil etc. worked hard. Coordinating Pvt.
